The USA has introduced new sanctions on Russia in reference to its alleged try to poison a former Russian spy and his daughter in Britain. The State Division Wednesday mentioned Russia is being sanctioned as a result of it used a chemical weapon in violation of worldwide legislation. Former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter had been poisoned by Novichok, a military-grade nerve agent, in Britain in March. VOA’s Zlatica Hoke experiences the sanctions are to go in impact in about two weeks.
